The vision for Alpha Eta Theta Christian Sorority, Inc. rested in the heart of Visionary Miai for two years before it came to fruition. During that season, she sought God's direction through prayer and faithfully waited for His timing. In August 2007, she began researching the necessary steps to embark upon the journey the Lord had placed before her.

As she continued to seek God's guidance, Visionary Miai prayed that He would surround her with like-minded women who shared a passion for advancing His Kingdom and serving others. In His faithfulness, God answered that prayer.

On Thursday, September 13, 2007, Alpha Eta Theta Christian Sorority, Inc. was founded in Mitchellville, Maryland. Established on biblical principles, the organization was created to encourage, equip, and empower women to live a Christ-centered lifestyle without compromise. While recognizing that no one is perfect and that every believer will occasionally fall short, Alpha Eta Theta embraces the daily pursuit of becoming more like Christ through spiritual growth, accountability, and unwavering faith.

The sorority is committed to providing women with the biblical foundation, practical tools, and authentic sisterhood needed to thrive in every area of life. From cultivating a deeper relationship with God to fostering healthy, Christ-centered relationships and serving others both spiritually and naturally, Alpha Eta Theta strives to develop women who faithfully represent Christ in their homes, communities, churches, and wherever He calls them to serve.

Today, Alpha Eta Theta Christian Sorority, Inc. continues to stand firmly on the vision God gave at its inception...building a legacy of faith, sisterhood, servant leadership, and community impact by equipping women to live boldly for Christ and faithfully fulfill His purpose for their lives, one generation at a time.
