The R.O.S.E.B.U.D.S. Mentorship Program is the official youth initiative of Alpha Eta Theta Christian Sorority, Inc., created to inspire, equip, and empower the next generation of young ladies. We believe every girl is uniquely created by God with purpose, value, and limitless potential. Our mission is to help each participant recognize her worth in Christ while providing the guidance, encouragement, and life skills needed to thrive. Designed for young ladies ages 12–17, the R.O.S.E.B.U.D.S. program provides Christian guidance, love, encouragement, support, and counseling on both an as-needed and ongoing basis. The program is intentionally structured in progressive phases to cultivate spiritual, personal, academic, emotional, and leadership development, equipping each young lady to grow into the woman God has called her to be. The sisters of Alpha Eta Theta Christian Sorority, Inc. believe our R.O.S.E.B.U.D.S. are **Rising Over Society's Expectations, Becoming Unstoppable Diligent Servants (for Christ).** This philosophy serves as the foundation of our mentorship program, encouraging every participant to rise above limitations, embrace her God-given identity, lead with confidence, serve with compassion, and walk boldly in her faith. Through faith-based mentoring, leadership development, educational enrichment, etiquette training, community service, character-building, and engaging activities, R.O.S.E.B.U.D.S. cultivates confident, compassionate, and purpose-driven young women. Participants are encouraged to build meaningful relationships, develop strong Christian values, serve their communities, and pursue excellence in every area of their lives. At R.O.S.E.B.U.D.S., we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where every young lady can blossom into the woman God has called her to be. Our goal is not simply to prepare girls for tomorrow, but to empower them to make a positive impact today while growing in faith, wisdom, leadership, and love. Together, we are planting seeds of faith, nurturing future leaders, and helping every R.O.S.E.B.U.D. bloom into all God created her to be.
Alpha Eta Theta Christian Sorority, Inc. is proud to partner with Operation Reach Back (ORB), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the next generation through mentorship and service. Operation Reach Back is a network of caring, compassionate, and committed mentors who are passionate about improving the quality of life for young people. By serving both within local schools and throughout the community, ORB provides guidance, encouragement, and meaningful opportunities that help youth develop into confident, responsible, and purpose-driven leaders. Through this partnership, Alpha Eta Theta supports initiatives that strengthen families, inspire academic and personal growth, and encourage young people to discover their God-given potential. Together, we are investing in tomorrows leaders by providing the mentorship, support, and positive influence they need to thrive.
Our commitment to supporting the fight against Multiple Sclerosis is deeply personal. In November 2001, our Visionary, Miai Porter-Riddick, received the life-changing news that her mother had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). That experience ignited a passion for raising awareness, supporting those affected by the disease, and contributing to the search for a cure. Since the founding of Alpha Eta Theta Christian Sorority, Inc., we have also welcomed sorors who courageously live with this incurable disease, making our commitment to this cause even more meaningful. Each year, our members form teams, raise donations, and participate in local MS Walk events to stand in solidarity with individuals and families impacted by Multiple Sclerosis. Through education, advocacy, fundraising, and community involvement, we remain dedicated to increasing awareness and supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's mission to cure MS while empowering those living with the disease to live their best lives. Together, we walk with hope, determination, and faith—believing that one day a cure will be found.
