Good morning, Visionary, NEA, Ladies of AET, lnterests all. Praying each of you are well. I know many questions aren’t asked as they should be in this space; I had one come to mind over the weekend. It is more directed to @Erica Tobias and @Alicia Sneed but any Alpha Lady’s input is greatly welcomed.
Mississippi is a Coterie at this point still if I understand correctly. I know Baltimore is as well. Baltimore I would imagine has the benefit of having members close by to lend their physical support, whereas Mississippi is a little further away although never alone.
As a member of AET, how do you find doing outreach—potential recruitment, set out in creating partnership, etc? What do those things look like for you? What advice would you give to a potential new member about picking up the AET mantle in an area that does not know about her?
Thank you in advance 🙂

Good morning Nadia! Very good questions. Yes, Mississippi is still a Coterie. I do outreach by word of mouth and posting on my social media outlets. And no, I'm not alone!! My Sorors help me as well by posting sharing on their social medi outlets as well. As far as fostering partnerships, what I look for in future potential partnerships is how the service will benefit the community, as far as meeting the needs of the people. For instance, in the Jackson area, Gateway Rescue Mission services the needs of the people through providing food and shelter to the homeless and needy. They also have clergy in the facility to minister to those who come through and receive food and shelter. Advice I would give to a potential new member about picking up the AET mantle in an area that does not know about her is talk to as many people as will listen. Continue posting about AET on their social media outlets. Post flyers about AET in areas that will allow. Talk to close friends and family and ask them to help spread the word as well!!
